If you have enough experience to fulfill any of the following duties, please feel free to contact Justin. While novice/intermediate developers are welcome, it is recommended you have a decent grasp of your skillset, and are a quick learner. This project doesn't require professional developers, but at least people who are familiar enough that they can realise any of these duties.

Online/network: able to develop basic user-to-user connection and game session interoperability so that 2 players may play against eachother.

Interface/Interaction: develop 2D user interface interaction handling (not graphical) elements (pool table, cue stick, balls) - the way these elements interact with user input and their cause and effect, and their visual on-screen result.

Math/physics: develop the ball movement, shooting and physics handling elements of the game. Scenarios such as the cue ball striking the 9-ball, the 9-ball then banking off a side rail into 2 other balls, which then move individually at a determined velocity, etc. Or a scenario such as the player selecting the "English" of a shot, affecting the initial path of the cue ball on it's way to the target ball.

Gameplay: develop the gameplay mechanics. Example scenarios include the player sinking the 8-ball prematurely, thus losing the game, or the player missing a shot and striking out and handing off the next shot to the other player, or the player sinking a target ball and getting another shot chance.

Artifical Intelligence: develop computer intelligence for offline play. Computer thinks about the current table setup, the target ball it is intended to hit, the path of the cue ball and the resulting target ball, general "shot winning" paths, rules of particular game types, etc.

Random Pool Fact
The essential surface element of pool tables, wool, has generally remained unchanged since the 1500's.
